AccuBLAST®

Let us help you make sense of all the As, Ts, Cs and Gs.

Are you spending a lot of time trying to make sense of your microbial sequence data? Have you been puzzled by some of the microbial IDs generated by your automated system? You are not alone! Many organizations are quickly realizing that obtaining a rapid and accurate identification is far from an “out-of-the-box” solution.

Our AccuBLAST® service is designed exclusively for customers who have purchased commercial genotypic identification systems and who do not obtain a confident identification by the automated system they are using. The AccuBLAST® service is based on two of our strengths- our sequence libraries and our expert data analysis and report generation, allowing us to deliver IDs more quickly and accurately. Our cGMP compliant proprietary library is the most comprehensive in the industry, providing twice the coverage than commercially available libraries for organisms encountered in manufacturing environments (Library Comparison April 2011). We currently have close to 5,000 validated species entries in our microbial libraries. In addition, our staff phylogeneticists have extensive experience from generating over 500,000 sequence-based reports to date. Our manual data review process affords you with six times improved consensus sequence repeatability over automated processes (Manual Reference Method for Data Interpretation). With AccuBLAST® you can be confident that we will make sense of all your sequences.

AccuBLAST® is the perfect solution for MicroSEQ® customers that want affordable access to the Accugenix proprietary libraries and analytical method of interpretation on a routine basis to improve the accuracy of their results and a higher reportable rate to the species level. AccuBLAST® is the ideal solution for those spending too much time trying to make sense of microbial sequence data or who are puzzled by the data generated by an automated system.

How does AccuBLAST® work?

Simply submit your raw sample data files (*.ab1 extension) from bacterial (16S) or fungal sequencing (D2) reactions and we will utilize our superior manual data analysis methods to achieve an identification and produce a cGMP validated report.  The identification report will include the sample Identification and Confidence Level information as well as the sequence data file names associated with the submitted sample request.

Our comprehensive, validated libraries combined with unmatched expertise in the field of microbial identification are invaluable when sophisticated problem-solving methods are required to reconcile confusing data and generate the right answer.
