We will perform the tests as dictated by the manufacturer and provide you with the identification results. This will give you an idea of the system’s capabilities and fitness for use as if you were running it yourself, without the time and financial investment involved in the validation process. Consider this a trial – something that commercial manufacturers of identification systems will not provide. In fact, we would be willing to perform a side-by-side trial of our proprietary systems against the system you are considering. Couple this with a cost analysis to demonstrate the true cost per reportable result, and you will have the necessary data to make the right decision for your operation.
Genotypic analysis using the MicroSEQ® from Applied BioSystems-Life Technologies
We offer this service for clients interested in utilizing the MicroSEQ® Rapid Microbial Identification System as a genotypic approach for microbial identification, which utilizes automated data analysis and comparison to the MicroSEQ® ID Libraries. Comparison of the method of analysis and completeness of the library between the MicroSEQ® system and the AccuGENX-ID™ services can be made by utilizing AccuBLAST® . Let us show you that both our methods of analysis and comprehensive, up-to-date libraries provide you with a more accurate and reliable ID than what can be generated with a MicroSEQ® system.
Proteotypic analysis using the Bruker Biotyper MALDI-TOF
The Bruker Biotyper generates a mass spectrometry spectral fingerprint and compares the protein fingerprint to the Accugenix library. We have built upon the Biotyper system’s library; however, there is still an approximately 30% risk of obtaining “No ID” due to low quality spectra or missing entries in the continually-developing library. This risk is mitigated when you opt to use the AccuPRO-ID® solution from Accugenix with 16S sequencing technology as an automatic back-up to provide an ID at no additional cost to you.
